Meeting called to order by President Bob Pitel; 7:40 PM

Members Present:  Terri Lenselink (Sec.), Bob Pitel (Pres.), Tim Flood (Ona.), Kelly Rickert (BRF), Stuart McNames (Dells/Delton), Timm Klemm (Bar.), Marv Lehmann (WS), Mike Gargaro (Treas.), Ron Anderson (CRG)

Members Absent:  Dan Lenselink (Vice-Pres.),  Reedsburg Rep., Brent Henry (Tom), Tom Steele (Vir.),  Dawn Bernamann (Sparta), Ron Bryant (La X), Fran McDevitt (Win), Gary Brenizer (Altoona)

Guests:  Ian Holloway and Dean Lounsbrough, (Blue Devils)

I.                     Skipped introductions due to small turn-out of members.

II.                   Secretary’s Minutes per Terri Lenselink, Motion by BRF, Second by Ona. to approve, motion approved.

III.                 Treasurer’s Minutes per Mike Gargaro, Motion by Baraboo, Second by Ona. to approve, motion approved.

IV.                 Committees

A.     League Statistician- still looking for someone to fill this position.  Marv L. will talk to someone.  This is a WMHL board position and not elected by a local association.

B.      Girls Coordinator – No report

C.      League Selects – cost the league $1500 this year.  Has been a money maker the last 3 years.  Down 80 players this year.  Highest numbers at the Squirt level then goes down from there.  Bring back to your associations to see what they think.

D.      WAHA – No report

E.       Website – per Bob Pitel, not fixed yet but Bob will work on it over the summer.

V.                   Old Business – feedback on Season and Annual Meeting, no comments

VI.                 New Business

A.     Portage – will be dissolving as an association.  Players will go to any association they want.

B.      Blue Devils – Ian Holloway and Dean Lounsbrough met with us to talk about the AAA team.  Would like to get more participation from WMHL players, not sure why there aren’t more.  Want to develop better players within the league.  Would like to meet with individual associations/boards to talk up the Blue Devils.  Would also like some info. on the Selects Tourney.  Each association should contact Ian to let him know when they will be meeting in Dec. and Jan. so he can attempt to be at those meetings to let them know about the Blue Devils.  Bob will also put a link to the Blue Devils’ website on the WMHL site.

C.      2006-07 WMHL Patches – Bob P. will do the same as last year and have them ready to hand out at the start of the season.

D.      Goals and Plans for 2006-07 year – Zero Tolerance

E.       Scheduling Meeting – scheduled for Wednesday, October 11^th.

F.       Next Meeting – Wednesday, August 9^th, Polak’s Pizza, Sparta; 6:30 PM
